Every faculty member of the Department of Sport Management & Organization is assigned with the task to provide individual academic consultation to a number of undergraduate students. Specifically, students are able to get in contact with their assigned Academic Advisor during his/her office hours and via email or in any other appropriate way as indicated by the Academic Advisor in order to:
- get advice on issues related to the Department curriculum, the necessary requirements to obtain their degree as well as their career orientation
- obtain accurate and valid information about the Department curriculum and existing academic regulations and procedures
- obtain information about conferences, workshops, postgraduate theses and doctoral dissertations
- get advice on possible academic constraints
- get information about their professional prospects, career opportunities and/or future studies
- seek guidance about volunteer opportunities related to their field of studies
- discuss study abroad opportunities (related to Erasmus and/or graduate studies)
- participate in the department research activities and laboratories and to get actively involved in them
