EN One of the main research pillars of the Department of Sports Organization & Management of the University of Peloponnese is the organization of high quality doctoral studies. The aim of the offered doctoral studies is, on the one hand, the formation of scientists capable of contributing to the progress of science and, on the other hand, the production of high quality scientific research. Particular emphasis is placed on the publication - presentation of original scientific research in scientific journals and conferences.
The doctoral programme provides doctoral candidates with expertise in the cognitive and scientific fields treated by the faculty members of the Department.
The structure, organization, operation and evaluation of the Doctoral Studies Program of the Department of Sports Organization & Management is governed by the applicable legislation, as well as by the provisions of the Department's Regulations for Doctoral Studies.
The Department's Doctoral Studies Programme (P.D.S.) leads to the award of a Doctoral Degree (D.D.), which certifies the completion of independent original scientific research and the writing and support of a doctoral thesis, reflecting the substantial contribution of its holder to the development of knowledge and science.
