With this letter we would like to inform you that on Sunday, March 17, 2019 the 8th ATHENS HALF MARATHON is organized by SEGAS and the Municipality of Athens, co-organized by the Attica Region. The Marathon will take place in the historic center of Athens and will end in front of the Monument of the Unknown Soldier. Given that it is a unique celebration for sports, culture and tourism, we expect to welcome over 25,000 runners of all ages.  SEGAS takes seriously the annual contribution of the Volunteers in the organization of the Marathon. Volunteers provide support to many important areas of the organization such as staffing, and high quality services to runners; therefore we see our visions being gradually implemented through collective work, cooperation and joint effort.

In this context, SEGAS with respect, gratitude and joy invites you to join and assist with your members - our volunteers - providing specialized and valuable services.
